K‑pop sensation BTS has revealed plans for a global tour spanning 2026 and 2027, marking their official return after a nearly four-year hiatus due to mandatory military service.
The group confirmed that the tour will include multiple continents, thrilling fans worldwide with both new music releases and classic hits. This marks a highly anticipated comeback for the seven-member band, rekindling excitement among their international fanbase.
K‑pop supergroup BTS has officially announced their 2026–2027 world tour, starting in South Korea in April 2026 and concluding in March 2027. The tour will feature over 70 shows across Asia, North America, South America, Australia, and Europe.
This will be the group’s first headline tour since their 2021–22 “Permission to Dance on Stage” tour.

The announcement follows BigHit Music’s confirmation that BTS will release new music on 20 March 2026, marking the end of a nearly four-year hiatus caused by mandatory South Korean military service for all seven members: RM, Jin, Jimin, V, Suga, Jung Kook, and j-hope. Suga was released from service in June 2025 after serving as a social service agent due to a shoulder injury, while the other six members completed their army duties.
