Taiwo Awoniyi Set to Join Coventry City in Premier League Move

Nigerian striker Taiwo Awoniyi is set to leave Nottingham Forest and join Premier League newcomers Coventry City, with the transfer reportedly agreed and subject to a medical.

The move would bring an end to Awoniyi’s four-year spell at Nottingham Forest. Since joining the club in 2022, the Nigerian forward has made more than 100 appearances and scored 23 goals.

Awoniyi’s opportunities at Forest became more limited last season, with the striker making 17 league appearances but starting only three matches.
